Who we are
Pexally, 2001 S Heather St, Cornelius, OR 97113, United States, runs pexally.com and makes the Pexally Invoices and Pexally Campaigns WordPress plugins. This policy covers this website, our plugins and their licenses, the Pexally Central Payment Gateway, and conversations with us about custom software.
Flow has its own policy. If you use Flow, read the Flow Privacy Policy, which explains what Flow collects and how.
What we collect
- Messages you send us: your name, email address and whatever you write, when you email us about support, a partnership or a software project.
- License requests: your name, email address, the domain where the plugin is installed, and whether you will use the Central Payment Gateway. The request form is submitted through Google Forms.
- Central Payment Gateway: when your client pays an invoice through the gateway, we receive a record of the payment, with the payer's name, email address and the amount. Card numbers are entered with our payment processors and never reach us. To pay you out, we collect the bank details you give us.
- Plugin downloads and website visits: like any website, our servers record technical details such as your IP address, browser and the pages or files requested, to deliver them and keep the site secure.
What stays on your own site. Pexally Campaigns runs on your WordPress site. Your contact lists and the emails you send stay on your site and with the email provider you connect; we do not receive them. The invoices you create with Pexally Invoices are stored on your own site as well.
How we use it
- To answer your messages and support you with our products.
- To issue, check and renew plugin licenses.
- To take payments through the Central Payment Gateway, pay you out, handle refunds and disputes, and meet tax and accounting duties.
- To prepare proposals and deliver custom software projects you ask us for.
- To keep our website, plugins and payments secure, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To tell you about updates, only where you have agreed or the law allows. Every marketing email lets you unsubscribe.
Our legal reasons
Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing our business (balanced against your rights), our legal obligations, such as keeping payment and tax records, and your consent where we ask for it, which you can withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and license records while they are useful for supporting you. Payment and payout records are kept for as long as tax, accounting and anti-fraud laws require. Other information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your information, or object to how we use it. Write to admin@pexally.com to make a request. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
How we protect it
We limit who can reach personal information, and protect it with safeguards suited to what it is, such as encrypted connections and two-step sign-in for our own tools. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
Our products are for businesses and are not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
